It wouldn't be Easter without a whopping Easter Eggs In Shops post, so without further ado let's crack on...or rather crack the eggs!
First up - an Egg everyone will no doubt want this Easter, the
Cadbury Dairy Milk Ultimate Daim Egg, which contains crunchy Daim pieces in the shell. There's also a Fruit & Nut variety.
Cadbury Dairy Milk "The Purple Egg":Available from Sainsbury's, this egg was simply described as "The Purple Egg" - presumably the colour purple is enough to be associated with Cadbury Dairy Milk! It's simply a milk chocolate egg wrapped in purple foil. Price: £1.

Chocolate Smiths Custard Easter Eggs:White chocolate eggs filled with a gooey custard filling - how good do they sound?! Only available from Fenwicks stores.
Nestle Butterfinger Cups Easter Egg (Asda exclusive):A milk chcoolate egg with 4 peanut butter cups. Asda exclusive.
Artisan Blonde Chocolate Easter Egg:If you love
Blonde Chocolate this is the egg for you! Beware though: it ain't cheap. Spotted in Fenwicks.
Baileys Milk Chocolate Butterscotch Egg:A Baileys flavour egg with added butterscotch and white chocolate buttons - yum! Available at Home Bargains.
Prestat Red Velvet Truffle Easter Egg:Prestat do a lot of cool Easter Eggs, from Salted Caramel to Gin & Tonic to Hot Cross Bun, but this Red Velvet Truffle sure does top them all. Contains a milk and white chocolate layered egg with truffles. Spotted in Fenwicks and also available online.
Super Mario Bros Milk Chocolate Egg with Cup:For lovers of retro games there's this Easter egg with a cool Mario cup at Asda. The mug changes colour when you pour in hot water!

Waitrose Chocolate Avocado:Now I really don't "get" this product at all. It's basically an Avocado shaped egg with coloured chocolate for the green section...but it contains no avocado, and isn't dairy free or vegan. I would have liked to see Waitrose be bold and just go for it and add dried avocado. It worked for

Thorntons Special Toffee Milk Chocolate Egg:A milk chocolate egg studded with special toffee pieces, somewhat similar to the Cadbury Daim Egg. Yum!
Lidl Deluxe Eton Mess Egg:Lidl have some very fancy looking eggs this year, and perhaps the best one is this white chocolate Eton Mess themed Egg. They also do a Mocha dark chocolate egg, Cornish salted caramel milk, plus some
Vegan Dark Chocolate Eggs.
Lidl Favorina Belgian Chocolate Eggs:Lidl are also doing Belgian Chocolate Eggs in both white and milk chocolate filled with a variety of sweeties.
Marks & Spencer Dippy Egg:Containing a caramel filled yolk above the hollow milk chocolate egg, this sounds pretty tasty!
Marks & Spencer Quail Eggs:Not real quail eggs of course, but white chocolate and milk chocolate eggs with a crisp sugar shell. I'll be looking out for these in the price reductions after Easter!
Marks & Spencer Laid Back Lamb:A bit of a dodgy looking one here...I'm not sure what theme M&S were going for with this!
Marks & Spencer Globetrotting Percy Pig Egg:A berry flavoured white chocolate egg...can't go wrong with Percy Pig!
Marks & Spencer Milk Chocolate Ganache & Salted Caramel Filled Eggs:Last year they did a dark chocolate version, but this year it's milk chocolate.
Choc on Choc Chocolate Coconut:A coconut-flavoured coconut-shaped egg, with a white chocolate inner shell filled with mini eggs. Can't get more coco-nutty than that! Available online/Fenwicks.
Milk Chocolate Pineapple Egg with Pina Colada Truffles:I don't know who it's made by but this Pineapple egg with Pina Colada truffles sounds interesting! Spotted in Fenwicks.
Artisan Du Chocolat Dragons Egg:A rather unique Easter gift, I'm not sure who would want this but it sure does look well crafted. Available online or Fenwicks.
Buttermilk Strawberry Bellini Egg:A strawberry bellini flavoured white chocolate egg - yum! Available at Waitrose.
Haribo Chick 'N Mix:A cute box filled with Starmix and Tanfgastics sweets. Available at Home Bargains, B&M etc.
Haribo Bunny & Friends:A variation on the Chick 'N Mix, I'm not sure what this box contains but presumably they're Easter themed. Available at Poundland.
Kinder Maxi Surprise Eggs:The classic Kinder Egg is available for Easter in this Maxi version, containing Hello Kitty themed toys. Spotted in The Co Op.
Nestle After Eight Easter Bunnies:Featuring mint flavoured dark chocolate Easter Bunnies, these are also dairy free! Spotted in B&M.
Aldi Specially Selected Easter Egg Dessert:Easter isn't just about eggs...it's also about easter egg desserts! Featuring feutelline and chocolate mousse, this sounds pretty yummy!
Aldi Dairyfine #ashtag Milk Chocolate:Aldi are also doing this Hashtag shaped chocolate for Easter. Take a selfie with it and you can win a prize! I wonder if my #handselfies count?
Aldi Balloon Easter Egg:I love the design of this egg...a hot air balloon shape complete with mini eggs in the basket. That's quite original and different!
